March Break Camp in Toronto for Preschool to Grade 6
SLI The Sidney Ledson School is open year-round, including the March Activity Week (March Break) and summer holidays. (We are closed only for the Christmas holidays.)
During the March Activity Week, our regular students continue with their normal course work; visiting students from other schools engage in advancement activities or standard curriculum reinforcement as per parent request. The March Activity Week curriculum features a variety of curricular and extra-curricular events that build on enhancing academic and socio-emotional skills, as well as engaging students in activities that are simply… loads of fun!
March Break Camp 2026
SLI The Sidney Ledson School is pleased to accept registrations for this year’s March Break Camp.
The school is open to SLI students, and space permitting, campers and students for admission assessments are accepted for the March Break Camp week, from March 9th – 13th. This may be extended from March 16th – 20th, 2026. Currently, a few spots are available in each class, and we are accepting registrations for March Break campers. In order to maintain a quality and personalized program for our campers, class sizes are capped at 12 students per class from Kinergarten to Grade 6, and 5 students for Preschool. Registrants are accepted on a first come first serve basis. Please give 24-48 hours for registration to be approved before making payment of the fees.
For the first week of the March Break, students receive essential curriculum learning in math and English subjects as well as coding, research and other core subjects (Individualized Academic Work in Math and English, Social Studies, Science, PhysEd, French). In the second week, students continue with essential core math, English, and coding subjects, and engage in exciting themed activities such as debate, drama, and games in the afternoon.

The hours of instruction are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Campers may be dropped off between 8:50 am and 9:00 am, and picked up between 4:00 pm and 4:10 pm.
Before-school supervision is from 7:30 am to 8:50 am and after-school supervision is from 4:10 pm until 6:00 pm ($10 per session).
Campers are required to bring in a laptop or an iPad for coding and research.
Lunch and Snacks
Students are required to bring a packaged lunch, beverage, and two snacks from home. All food must be nut-free. Please make sure that any loose items for snacks or lunch that need to be refrigerated, together with lunch cutlery, are placed in a ziploc bag and labelled clearly with your child’s name and grade. Since we are restricting the placement and collection of lunches and snacks in the fridge to teachers and supervisors only, they need to be able to identify the lunch or snack that belongs to your child.
Lunchbox Pizza Lunch Option on Wednesdays
SLI is pleased to offer students the option of a pre-ordered pizza lunch on Wednesdays through Lunchbox, an ordering platform for schools, connecting parents to various vendors / suppliers. Parents will have the option to place a lunch order from Pizza Pizza for their child for Wednesdays (prices indicated include tax and delivery). Lunch will be delivered between 11:45 am and 12:00 pm. To view the menu and prices, you would need to register your child by creating an account on www.lunchboxorders.net (this will require student info only). Please see the How-to-Order Guide (as per 2024) for instructions on placing an order. To pre-order for the week ahead, you would need to place your orders by 12:00 pm the Sunday before. Please note that the cost of the Lunch Program is not covered in the tuition fees to SLI The Sidney Ledson School and payment should be made to Lunchbox directly. The provision of this service and sustenance of this lunch program is conditional upon sufficient meal orders from our school. Students who have an ordered lunch will still need to have snacks and beverages packed from home.
