Philosophy

Critical to fostering a growth mindset, and in priming students with an innate motivation to learn, is a duty to indulge their prerogative of forming a personal connection and voice within the sphere of the social sciences.  A strong foundation in critical thinking, written and verbal communication skills, research skills, as well as in current events and self-awareness prepares our students to employ higher-order reasoning through evidence-based discussions, formulaic debates, and of course, our annual Model UN conference.  Representing countries across the world, students as young as seven participate with informed enthusiasm alongside Senior Elementary peers in negotiating terms for real-world issues.
