Looking for a debate, public speaking, space, science, or academic summer camp in Toronto that combines academics, critical thinking, communication, and discovery?

SLI's Debate & Space Camp gives students the opportunity to explore public speaking, debate, research, communication skills, scientific curiosity, and age-appropriate enrichment in a supportive full-day summer camp environment.

Throughout the week, students participate in a variety of differentiated activities designed to encourage critical thinking, communication, confidence, creativity, and curiosity.

Each morning includes mathematics reinforcement and enrichment, English language arts development, and age-appropriate exploration of debate, public speaking, research, and communication skills.

Students will have opportunities to investigate meaningful topics, develop and communicate ideas, strengthen presentation skills, and participate in discussion and debate activities appropriate to their age group, interests, and experience level.

Activities are designed to encourage critical thinking, research skills, collaboration, communication, and confidence while introducing students to concepts related to public speaking, debate, and persuasive communication.

In the afternoon, students explore space science, astronomy, discovery, and scientific inquiry through a variety of age-appropriate projects and activities.

Students are encouraged to investigate topics related to space exploration, astronomy, scientific discovery, and our understanding of the universe while participating in hands-on, digital, and research-based experiences appropriate to their age group, abilities, and interests.

Activities are designed to promote curiosity, creativity, experimentation, collaboration, and confidence while allowing students to explore concepts related to space and scientific discovery.

In addition to academic, debate, and space programming, students enjoy a balanced summer camp experience with themed activities, indoor and outdoor games, team challenges, creative projects, social interaction, and outdoor recreation.

The program is designed to give children a full day of learning, discovery, movement, and fun.
