Games & Engineering Camp | July 27 – July 31, 2026 | Full-Day Summer Camp for Ages 3–12

SLI's Games & Engineering Camp gives students the opportunity to explore game design concepts, engineering thinking, creativity, and age-appropriate enrichment in a supportive full-day summer camp environment.

Throughout the week, students participate in a variety of differentiated activities designed to encourage problem-solving, innovation, creativity, collaboration, and confidence.

Morning Academic and Games Program

Each morning includes mathematics reinforcement and enrichment, English language arts development, and age-appropriate exploration of games, strategy, logic, and creative thinking.

Students will have opportunities to analyze, create, and explore different types of games and game concepts appropriate to their age group, interests, and experience level. Activities may incorporate a blend of hands-on, digital, and computer-based experiences depending on student age, readiness, and interests.

Activities are designed to encourage critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication while introducing students to concepts related to game design and strategy.

Afternoon Engineering & Design Program

In the afternoon, students explore engineering concepts, creativity, design thinking, and problem-solving through a variety of age-appropriate projects and activities.

Students are encouraged to consider function, structure, creativity, and innovation while participating in hands-on, digital, and design-based experiences appropriate to their age group, abilities, and interests.

Activities are designed to promote experimentation, collaboration, creativity, and confidence while allowing students to explore principles of engineering and design.

Full-Day Summer Camp Experience

In addition to academic, games, and engineering programming, students enjoy a balanced summer camp experience with themed activities, indoor and outdoor games, team challenges, creative projects, social interaction, and outdoor recreation.

The program is designed to give children a full day of learning, creativity, movement, and fun.
